WTCA Naples Summit
December 14 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm ESTFree – $79
The WTCA is hosting a one day summit in Florida for the first time this winter. Expert presenters will deliver top notch content giving coaches more tools to help them work with female players.
8.30am – 11.30am Speciality Courses
Dr. Michelle Cleere – A female’s peak performance is 100% physical and 100% mindset. Coaches can recognize it as worries, doubts, fears, and negative self-talk. Yes, tennis demons show up before a match even starts, before the serve, after a lost point, and the worst, when they really beat themselves up, is after the match. Tennis demons make or break your player’s game. Females have the keen sense and the tenacity to stop these demons before they even start. They can build strong mental skills to conquer the demons and control these key moments. When you turn the subconscious into conscious, you watch the magic happen and see your player’s consistency and confidence grow. Ultimately, having fun… and winning more. 8.30am – 11.30am – December 14 3-hour specialty course before the main summit
Dean Hollingworth – Having a quick first step in tennis is essential. It can make the difference between winning and losing matches. Plyometrics, strength training, and drills are at the forefront of developing a great first step. This course will go beyond this and look at the “why’ behind them. The course will cover the proper programming of the drills, correct technique of the exercises and how to modify them for the female player. Learn the best strength and plyometric exercises behind the development of a powerful first step. December 14 – 8.30am – 11.30am
