Sarah Stone is a professional tennis coach. There is a strong family tie to tennis in the Stone family. Sarah’s Father, Terry, is a former professional tennis player and current head coach at Grace Park Hawthorn Club in Melbourne Australia. Sarah’s brother, Adam, Play Division 1 college tennis and assisted her as a hitting partner for Samantha Stosur. Her Mother and older brother are also club tennis players.

A passionate teacher, Sarah has seen and worked with players of all ages and standards. Currently residing in Delray Beach, FL, Sarah is the former director of tennis at Columbine Country Club in Colorado and Volunteer Assistant coach at Pac 12 school, the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Sarah Stone is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Women’s Tennis Coaching Association. A conversation with one of her closet friends Nicole Kriz ignited what has become one of the largest online platforms in tennis coaching. With numbers exceeding 45,000 social media followers, the WTCA has become a very strong brand under Stone’s guidance.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to be supported by an exceptional group of people. Many of the leading tennis experts around the world have shared their wisdom and stood behind my vision.” Stone said.

With the exponential growth of the WTCA over the last 24 months, Stone has quickly become one of world’s the most influential figures in coaching female players, advising many of the biggest federations and speaking at events all over the world.

“It’s amazing to see how far we have come in a relatively short period of time Stone stated. How so you might be wondering, simply put “It’s all about creating a community where people feel part of something.” Stone shared.

Sarah’s extensive experience in club management and directing programs prepared her well for the role of CEO at the WTCA. She feels that working with a player is not just a job, it is a way of life, both a mentoring position and a confidant. Developing world-class tennis players requires strength, respect, trust, integrity and, above all else an unwavering commitment to the journey, a message Sarah Stone shares with coaches daily in her quest to advance the level of coaching female players across the sport.
