The Top Gun Tennis Academy offers the most comprehensive junior training program in the region. Our staff is dedicated to the development of the junior player and athlete. Our program offers on-court training, match play, fitness training, video analysis, evaluations, and tournament travel.
We offer a clinic level for junior players of all ages & skills. Our certified teaching staff will guide each junior player along the TGA Pathway to enhance their skills & enjoyment of tennis. Top Gun Academy offers a Program for beginning players, school level players, and our Invitational Program for tournament training players.

Our Coaches
The Top Gun Tennis Academy, constructed in 2010, is a dedicated 13 court campus that is committed to the development of tennis players of all levels. We also feature permanent QuickStart courts for 10 & under players. We are Kentucky’s leader in QuickStart tennis for 10 & under players and developing a new generation of juniors playing the sport. Many of our junior players have graduated from our program to secure college scholarships and compete in varsity college programs across the nation. The Top Gun Tennis Academy also serves as the home to Trinity High School Tennis.
Tammy Anderson
Tammy is our 10 & under Director and has played and taught tennis over 40 years. She has played High School and College Tennis. In 2013 she was named Professional Tennis Registry’s Kentucky Pro of the Year. She annually goes to the US Open to coach Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day. Her passion is for the Juniors where she loves to coach and mentor the children. Tammy serves as a board member and the Chief Financial Officer of the Women’s Tennis CoachingAssociationn.
Jan Barrett
A native of Ontario, Canada, she is a 15-year USPTA certified teaching professional, a former Division 1 All American tennis player, All American Strength and Conditioning team and Arthur Ashe National Leadership and Sportsmanship Award at Clemson University. She has played professionally throughout Europe. Jan has a Masters Degree in Sports Management from Georgia State University where she coached at a Division 1 collegiate level.
